Meet The Team
Nursery Manager
Robyn
Hello, I'm Robyn.
I began my journey working with Eileen at Mara nursery, where I worked in the preschool room as the Room Leader for two years, also taking on the role of deputy manager and furthering my studies to be a valuable team of management.
I qualified my Level 3 childcare in 2013 and have had permanent roles working in Nurseries ever since, across the ages from 6 months to 4 years.
I am a very creative person and Nursery provides lots of opportunities to explore my creativity and imagination while leading my team to provide every Child with an exciting, memorable and educational experience through their early years journey.
During the pandemic I found a passion for gardening and am very much looking forward to taking part in ‘forest school’ activities in our beautiful natural garden space.
I live on a narrow boat in a Marina, where I met my boyfriend, Wayne. He also has his own narrow boat, and we live between the two of them with our three cats, Rosie, Garfield and Boyce.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy sewing clothes, going for bike rides along the canal, reading books and socialising with friends.
Your Key Person
The key person is responsible for helping your child to settle by developing a nurturing relationship, they will also take care of your child’s intimate care needs whenever possible.
Your key person will ask you for information about your child’s individual needs and requirements. As you are the primary caregiver it is important that you are involved and kept up to date with what your child is learning at nursery.
You will receive daily updates on Famly as well as regular updates via the news feed, we take lots of pictures and videos for Famly as a record of your child interests or achievements and to show you what a lovely time they are having at nursery.
Older children will bring a Home Learning Sheet Home Learning which you can enjoy together. We have an open door policy and like you to feel welcome to contact us at any time.
